Where do Northern Cardinals live?

The famously red Northern Cardinal lives in Northeastern United States, Southwestern United States, Southern United States, all throughout Mexico, Central America, the Hawaiian islands, and lastly in the Southern part of Canada. This bright red bird doesn’t migrate and loves flying through the dense shrubbery found in  forest edges, overgrown fields, hedgerows, overgrown backyards, and manicured landscaping.

The Northern Cardinal is probably the most popular “Red” colored bird, making them a great find for entry level bird watchers. Do you live in an area where Cardinals live?
